Novicin 50
Rumen By-pass Niacin (50%)
The Niacin concentration in the feed and the amount synthesized in the rumen is insufficient to meet the requirements of the high producing cow, especially during the transition period.
Niacin helps in the prevention of ketosis because of its role in energy metabolism , reduces mobilization of body fat and thus the level of NEFAs in the blood and increases blood glucose levels significantly (in transition cow), thus, reducing body tissue mobilization and the risk of ketosis.
Innovad special coating technique is based on advanced technology involving synchronized spray cooling of a composite matrix of primarily selected long chain fatty acids. This technique assures that the maximum amount of protected nutrients is able to by-pass rumen fermentation and remains 100 % available at the small intestine
Protecting Niacin guarantees intact passage of this vitamin through the rumen and an absorption in the small intestine.
